Guidelines for acceptable use of TakeHost’s services

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) describes what is considered acceptable use of TakeHost’s services, including cloud services, software development, IT operations and support. By using our services, you agree to comply with these policies.

2. Illegal Use

You may not use our services for any form of illegal activity, including but not limited to: Transmitting, storing or distributing illegal material, such as child pornography, copyrighted material or defamatory content. Committing fraud, deceit or other financial crimes. Spreading viruses, malware or other malicious software. Hacking, attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data, or any other form of cybercrime.

3. Misuse of the Services

You may not use our services for activities that may damage, disrupt or otherwise negatively affect TakeHost’s network, systems or other users. This includes, but is not limited to: Sending spam, unsolicited email, or other forms of unsolicited communication. Overburdening our network or systems, for example by sending large amounts of data or performing resource-intensive operations. Attempting to circumvent security measures or gain unauthorized access to our systems or data. Using our Services to conduct business that violates our policies or agreements.

4. Content

You are responsible for all content that you upload, store, or share through our Services. This includes text, images, videos, audio files, and other forms of data. You may not upload, store, or share content that is: Unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive. Violates the copyright or other intellectual property rights of others. Harmful to children or contains child sexual abuse. Suitable to mislead or deceive others.

5. Domain

When ordering a domain, the Customer is responsible for ensuring that the information provided when ordering is correct. By providing incorrect contact information that makes the order in its entirety incorrect/valid, be it name, contact person, street address, postal address, or email, etc., TakeHost may, based on a discretionary assessment, cancel the order. When moving a domain to a supplier other than TakeHost , the main rule is that this is carried out by the Customer’s new supplier in accordance with the top-level name policy. TakeHost can assist with a transfer of a domain, but then against compensation from the Customer as specified by TakeHost . Domains ordered through TakeHost are the property of TakeHost until the Customer has paid the invoice in full. All campaigns for domain registration have a maximum limit of 50 domains per customer and per one order. If a customer orders 10, 20 or more domains in one order, the promotion is used, and the next order will be invoiced at full price according to the prices on the website. Some registration entities ask TakeHost to forward their terms and conditions that will apply to all Customers who order domains in addition to the terms and conditions in this Agreement. These can be found HERE

6. Email services

Customers who use our web hosting and want email accounts associated with the service must use Take OX APP Suite, not CPanel. To manage your email accounts via Take OX APP Suite, you can log in to the customer area: https://takehost.biz/manage/clientarea.php. If the client uses CPanel for email, we cannot offer free support. We can help with migration to Take OX APP Suite.

7. Consequences of Violating the Guidelines

Violation of these Guidelines may result in Take Host taking action, including, but not limited to: Temporary or permanent suspension of access to the Services. Deletion of content that violates the Guidelines. Reporting illegal activity to the relevant authorities.

8. Changes to the Guidelines

TakeHost reserves the right to change these Guidelines at any time. Any changes will be published on our website.
